After the War - -

When approximately five years had passed after the close of the war, veterans of
the Sherman Brigade began to hold reunions to renew friendships formed during
the war years. Over the years, the Sherman Brigade Veteran's Reunion Camps
were held at various different local communities. The Veterans would have
several days of programs, speeches, and time in which to reminisce of their
past experiences.

Sherman Brigade Reunion Camps were held in the communities of
Mansfield, Crestline, Orrville, Ashland, Wooster, and Shelby. In late
August of 1909, the Sherman Brigade Reunion was held at Camp Shelby.
